Making image transparent

pls make this image transparent

BLUElearnings, I can tell you straight off how to make images transparent.

Use the Magic Wand Tool and click on the white.
Go Select -> Invert.
Copy the selection with either CTRL+C or Edit -> Copy.
Paste the selection with either CTRL+V or Edit -> Paste.
Now open the Layers Tab with CTRL+L.
You should see a new layer named *Floating Selection Pasted* or something similar.
Double click on that and type in any letters for the layer name.
Right click on the layer with white around it and click Delete Layer.

Congratulations, you just made your first image transparent!

Clug you forgot to mention something important:
The basic tolerance should be about 32 else it'll be ugly edges XD

*I'm not a designer either but I used to do renders, signatures, tutorials and manga coloring.
just as a hobby... no compensation needed XD

There should be a box with a certain number when you select the magic wand tool. This it the "Tolerance". Set it to 32 and you should be all right.

Juani hit the jackpot. That's what I meant.
But later on in the message(after the *) I corrected myself.
It doesnt give a great result when I create a new layer turn it black and put it behind it. What I mean to say is that you will see white edges.
Ill remake the render in a day or so.

I'll hope the people with "Titles" here have the patience to with with closing the topic untill then.

Ok I've finished it, using a combi of background eraser tool and refilling parts using the polygonal lasso tool.

Ok try viewing this render on several different background colors and see the difference XD

I agree that the pentool is a better tool often. It works best on anime renders with a large size. On small size it only makes it more complex.

Your magic wand tool is nezt to the Lassu tool in the tool-box. Click on the thing you want to clear, go to edit, then click clear

Yes but it shoudn't be too hard to cut them out.
rectangular select tool should be sufficient.
