Disallow guests to preview the forum

We had the guest who posted pornography on lots of the current subjects. Therefore, I'm requesting that guests be unable to view the forum of the forums. First, they need to register, then if they commit something, we can ban them straight on, although obtaining the IP address of a guest is not possible, meanwhile getting an IP address of a user is possible.

I actually know the person who did this. Not a friend of mine, I just managed to find out Wink

By the way, locking up the board from guest will be only bad for the traffic, because many normal visitors HATE the fact that they have to register to just be able to search for an answer or get a simple glipse of the ambiance.
Locking up will only result in these two phenomenons :
- Most normal visitors will flee for another board host, because for them, a locked board isn't transparent and is afraid to expose what's written inside.
- If the normal visitor anyway, he will mostly just search, then leeave without posting, so this will generate even more ghost members.

So, for a support forum, it's out of question, because locking up the sections is completely contrary to the sharing philosophy. That's why most support forum leave their public sections viewable by guests. And this philosophy is even more important in open source communities.
