A metatag problem
Hey guys,
I've been trying to submit my forum to google and I always can't put a metatag on my homepage, I've read all the tutorials: Admin panel>>Display>>Homepage>>Generalities
and then theres a box where you insert your metatags.
Sorry about this kind of stupid question, but which is the box you insert the meta tag into?

Re: A metatag problem
There should be two boxes: one for Metatags and one for Keywords.

Re: A metatag problem
Those are the keywords. If users google any of those specific keywords you used for that criteria, then it's possible to show up on Google along with your site.

Re: A metatag problem
There's no need to insert anything in the Homepage Message.
You use the Homepage Message for other general things, and it's not even needed. Once you click that 'Save' button for your keywords, then you are set. Try to add as much keywords as you can so that you will have more of a change of having your forum keyworded on search engines.

Re: A metatag problem
What I did was put in the index_body template. I just put in there a went back to Google to verify it and it worked.
Admin Panel --> Display --> Templates --> General --> index_body.
I'd put a screencap but servimg isn't uploading the image.
