so my question basiclay is that as long as something has an embed code i can add it to me forum right?

Yes,but you can only add it where their are html sources on your forum.

If you would like to use them in topics/posts on your forum,then you will need to enable html on your forum.

ACP=>General Tab=>Messages and Emails=>Configuration=>Allow html=>Yes=>Save

ok thanks just had to make sure before i added something and it crashed my web
