Post by Buster June 17th 2007, 9:35 pm

Hey all... Yup its Buster... long time no see..

So yeah I have been doing some PHPbb searchs and I came upon an item called PHPbb fully modded..

I looked at the item and then at Editboard... Is Editboard a Mod of PHPbb fully modded?

If so its an old version, and I suggest it to be upgraded.

You'd need to send a P.M to a techi fr a full answer to this Wink

As far as I can tell for sure:

ForumMotion (EditBaord) is at the base PHPbb, this in't a secret to anyone. However, the base databse has been heavilly editd and therefore isn't a mod or too similar to the original PHPbb
As for the newer ersion, the update that brought us this magnificent new Admin Panel was also completed with an update to the current new versionof PHPbb Wink

I any case, I'm sure the techis are working on upgrades as we speak Very Happy

Forumotion has been started from the basic unmodded phpbb2, and they adapted the system to make the management simpler for people who don't have the knowledge to manage a phpbb forum.

The mods have been added one by one, or in batch. And for every mod, they had to be adapted before install, and many of them are homemade.

I can say this because I know Forumotion since September 2004, when it was available only in French where it is known under the name of "Forumactif", so I witnessed the evolution from my arrival until today.

I do believe the service we use is completely different from the regular phpBB, they've modified the coding immensely.
