adding script to the homepage footer?

ok here is a problem, i joined infolinks to advertise in my forum, they gave me a script to paste in my homepage footer through html. now i need to know how to do this? so please any expert explain to me how to do this..

To add script to forum footer, you can go to Admin CP > Display > 'General' under 'Templates' > overall_footer...

Notice this part in the script...

         <div id="page-footer">
            <div align="center">
<div class="gen">

You can add your script right after that. Don't forget to hit the 'Publish' (+) button to make changes work.

also remember you can only do this on phppb2 and punnbb versions.

cuz i have pasted the script there but no change appears....

whats the code. it should not take two days it should show right away.
and where did you place it? you most likely would want it in overall_footer= top of the page

thats the script i have added in the overall footer.
btw its working now, i think its for just ading hyperlinks to some words/text

wow that's flipped out. i dint see it on your forum at first. the i tried it on my test forum. dint see nothing. and then i certain text in my scroll message that was coming up..
cool that's a new one to me. i had the code in the homepage message and it worked.
so you could place it there too if you wanted.

I tried to do this but the code that show there does not appear anywhere on my overall_footer script.

After you save your changes in template you must hit the '+' button to publish it and make the changes work.
