calander options

With the new calander option, is there a way of adding information as closing of events on the forum? I know it adds birthdays automatically, but me and my mods were hoping to add other things so members know what is going on easier.

I opened a forum which was not visible to members, and put all my calendar events in there. Hope that helps.

hmm...thats not really what I meant. We have the calender option where birthdays automatically go into for all to see. I wanted to add other events to that calender so all can see, though I am not sure if or how to go about that!

it is. Make a forum but make it invisible to all except admin. Open new threads there and post the date you want it to show on the calendar. They cannot see the forum where you put the stuff but they show up on the calendar.

When you post a new topic, just above the poll options, you have a "Calendar" option where you can fill up the field to make it appear in the calendar.
