how do i add a catagory to my forums? I tried everything. i am on the admin panel

if that doesnt work

structure and heirachy
split categories on index

where your forum name is displayed on the categories and forums section look directly right for a green plus sign click that
can i have a link to your forum?

You don't need a link to his forum for this.

Once you are in categories and forums click the Green Plus Sign

You will have an option that says Choose the kind of forum you want :>>Click the Category

Once you have a forum attach to the Category go to Admin Panel>>Display Tab>>Index Packing>>Choose what you want>>Save
