How to remove some nav buttons

How do I remove the nav buttons:
FAQ
SEARCH
GROUPS


Since they are not needed and clutter up my forum header as my nav buttons are very big.

first go to.

admin panel>display>Headers & Navigation.
scroll down and select (yes) for Display only images in the link bar. and click save.

no go to admin panel>display>pic's magement>advanced mode.

scroll down and remove the links for the images you do not wish to appear.
be sure not to take out the ones you do want. then after you remove the ones you dont want hit save and your good to go

Other way is.
Users & groups>Special Rights
FAQ
SEARCH
GROUPS
For all of them select administrators. That way only admins can see it.
