HOW do i get rid of military time?

my site has military time instead of normal time. what option has the right one? I keep trying different ones and no luck bwi

ACP >> General >> Config. >> Date format >> [search the dropdown menu for the preferred time]

i appreciate the help but that was pointless. I said i have tried that menu, i think every one and none of them have fixed it. still military time.

Change it also in your profile > Preferences

i have tried all the options i can find in admin functions and also my own profile, nothin gets rid of it. the home page still has military time wether im logged out or logged in.

any other ideas?

In your profile, click on "Preferences" tab :
HOW do i get rid of military time? Change10

Then, look for "Date format" :
HOW do i get rid of military time? Change11

And in your admin panel, you go by "General" tab, then in the "Forums" menu, click on "Configuration" :
HOW do i get rid of military time? Change12

Then look for "Date format"
HOW do i get rid of military time? Change13

I know HOW to get to the menus, but which one on that list (doesn't anyone actually read the thread before answering?) Im sorry to be rude, i know you tried to help, but showing me something i just said i know how to get to didn't really help.

whats the difference between the following :
07:24 am
-07:24 am
-7:24 am

its got to have something to do with those 3 different options, theres got to be someone on this site that knows the answer.

off to tech support i go...

It depends if you want the hour number to be preceded by a zero when the number is under 10

Then after, it depends if you want the month displayed before the day, or the opposite.

Just try them, one by one, then see the result.

I received your rude reply on the other thread, I do not understand why you made that, I didn't say anything bad to you. Sorry your taking this personally but I am asking for a solution, if yours don't work don't take offense, it is what it is its not your fault NOR mine.

I tried every single option in that whole list one by one, logging out afterwords and checking, still military time on the main page and my profile too, no matter what.

Can I get a mod to help here at any point ? Rolling Eyes

mod or ex mod, dont matter, i dont care if its a 6 year old if they can help me, and when i state i tried something and it didnt work she got rude and attacked me, I didnt respond thats not why im here.

all that you just suggested has been done over and over. no luck.

Take it easy where only here to to help. i mean i don't think it's rocket science to set the time or date. let me go see if i can do it. i actually do not even remember ever setting this for any of my forums but i must have. but it appears that how i do it has probably already been explained.

so just relax we'll help u get it straighten out. i understand some things can be frustrating at times. but you have to try to keep a cool head.

Link to convert military time to regular time: http://www.spacearchive.info/military.htm (just in case you were confused)
To change it:
ACP >> General >> Config. >> Date format >> [pick one that has a pm or am after it]

...and then...

User Profile (link at the top nav) >> Preferences >> Date format >> [pick one that has a pm or am after it]

If there is any other issue, please explain it carefully, with a calm tone Smile

Tell ya what Fishfreak, you haven't seen rude, But What I have seen is You being disrespectful to former staff and the members here who are trying to assist you with your problem. Which in case you didn't know is liable to a Ban. So for that you have just received your 1st Serious Warning from me, If I find just ONE more snotty, sarcastic remark from you here again and I will ban you myself!
