Solved More registration questions?

Post by vhbelvadi Fri 4 Sep - 8:48

How do I add more questions to the registration form in my phpBB2 forum? I'd like a detailed answer, please.
[PS: Tell me if I had to post this question elsewhere!]

Actually, I wanted to add a few for new users who are registering, apart from 'username' and 'email' and 'password'. On second thoughts, I doubt whether it can be done - or, can it?

Sure, but it only explains how I can add a 'warning level' indicator to members' profiles and not ask them questions during registration.

To make it during registration, just make the field compulsory. Smile

Solved Re: More registration questions?

Hello,

Sanket posted the correct link.

When you create a new profile, and you tick the "obligatory" box, it becomes required to be answered to join the forum, and for any member who is updating their profile, and the option is there; they must include that before their aloud to save it.

When you make the flied, it automatically becomes as part of your registration field, along side to the "email address" "User name" "gender" "Date of birth" ect ect.

The tutorial that Sanket gave you the link of WILL explain how the personalized profile fields work.

Does this help?
