HIDE tags are used when you want to conceal the contents of a topic. Unlike SPOILER tags, where you can click the top of it and then the content shows, you can only see the contents of the HIDE tags if you have posted in that topic.

All it is, anyone can see the spoiler tag. Only people who post in that topic can see whats in the hide tag.
