I want to have one at the left of the forum, like this forum has: http://www.designforum-gfx.com/forum.htm

My forum is phpBB3.

You can use this code to do that. Add it to Admin CP > Display > Colors > CSS and submit.

background : url('IMAGE URL HERE') fixed no-repeat;
}
