Brand new servers for better performances

Dear users,

We are going to replace some Forumotion servers, so we can offer you better performances.
This manipulation is harmless for your forums. Only a few slowdowns can be encountered during the process when browsing your forums.

Update : The techs are still working to solve all issues regarding the servers change, please notify me of all remaining bugs/glitches you may encounter, apart from you forum not being accessible.

For people getting Error 500 (Server error) it's most commonly to do with your templates.
The solution is to simply re-publish the template overall_header_new.

Hmmme this is interesting... because all the forumotion forums - including the support forum - are experiencing intermittent problems and at one stage they were all down.

wow. haha i thought it was my internet. normally it takes 5 seconds to pull up admin panel. now its like 30seconds.

None of the forums will pull up for me either it takes at least a good 30-60 seconds to pull up which usually doesn't happen on my computer as I have high speed internet not dialup!

any idea when this will be completed? I'm excited to see the results, but it would be nice to get some of e-mail alert to these from time to time. Not I guess that I can complain much, as I haven't paid anything into the service as yet.
There was a spirited discussion going on at my place, when it all went poof!

Actually, that's not really correct that quote.

My members lost a few comments they were trying to post as the upgrades/changes went into effect.
It would be cool if forum founders could get an e-mail alert so that we can inform our respective memberships as to when these things might occur...that way discussions could be avoided @ those times.

Does this account for my chatbox doing all kinds of wierd stuff???

for some reason it keeps showing my forum in chatbox window at times, when it does show chatbox it shows me as diconnected even when i log into it. Was all fine an hour ago.

The forums are up and down intermittently. I would suggest that, when you get a chance and if you can log on, you post in your forum announcements section that maintenance is taking place.

I've warned my members that this will be the case on and off for today and maybe even over the weekend. At least they will know what to expect.

My topics and posts are gone including the forums itself all I have is the widgets etc but no forums.

it seems as if, Only Forumotions support forum is working. Nothing else. (well if it is, pulls up in 2, 3 minutes)

Sorry but this support forum crashed just at the moment I posted my reply and for some reason it's duplicated my posts!
