Saving colours problem

Today i tried editing the colours for my forum.The colours that i changed appeared on my preview thingy, but when i clicked the "save" button it refreshed the page, and the colours that i changed didn't show on the preview thingy and it was back to old styles how it was before edited colours.and i changed practillay the whole forum from Font size to background colour.how'd this happen and how can i fix it?(Don't blame me if i didn't spell "colours" the way u guys do.I'm from New Zealand.)?

Colours from NZ is the same as Colours from Australia
The guys have got custom to me and our spelling of words with a "u" in them

Have you tried refreshing ur page 5 times, with about 20 secs separating them?

So u mean like refresh the page then wait for 20 seconds and do it 5 times okay ii'l try..............................

Um any other ideas?

If the colour changing still isn't working, try clearing ur browser's cookies & cache.

And im using phbbp(i dunno if that's how u spell it.)styl forum. the one that is 100% customizable.i think its 2.

I'm afraid it didn't work.But i have internet explorer as well as Mozilla so i tried it on internet explorer and it still didn't work.Wat to do?

This has happend to me before. Just re-install the skin. Export any data you wish to save for future use/reference.

yeah,I would but i changed nearly half the forum except for colors and i just changed almost all the forum pictures from "lock this topic" icon to "forum main logo".And that would mean it was all just a fat waste of time.

Will this still keep all my images and pics if i do it?!

Re install the skin, and re-apply the images as you did before.

New skin= spell_web.02_lover

Old skin=bp vista styles.
