Can I place a graphical banner or youtube video in my homepage message and if so ... what code do i need Question

Look on the right of the YouTube video page. You can customize a player,
copy the embed code and add it to your homepage message.

Go to: Admin Panel > Display > Homepage > Generalities
Place the code in "message content" (save). Here is your video

Code:: <center><object width="425" height="344"><param name="movie" value="http://www.youtube.com/v/j0n1oM3L4yk&hl=en&fs=1&"></param><param name="allowFullScreen" value="true"></param><param name="allowscriptaccess" value="always"></param><embed src="http://www.youtube.com/v/j0n1oM3L4yk&hl=en&fs=1&" type="application/x-shockwave-flash" allowscriptaccess="always" allowfullscreen="true" width="425" height="344"></embed></object></center>

Remove the <center> tags if you want it aligned to the left.
