False Litigations
I hope you can help me.
An ex-member with a grudge against our forum has deliberately filed a false litigation against our forum.
http://find-madeleine.forumotion.net/
This has come through and shown up on my admin panel and I have replied to it.
Can you tell me what happens now please?
Our forum has never had a litigation before.
Our forum is balanced and fair, and fully moderated at all times.
What can we do about a false litigation being filed against us?
We know who filed it and that person now has her own forum on Forumotion.
Are there any rules regarind a person filing a false litigation against any forum?
Regards,
Tezza

Re: False Litigations
The reports which come to your forum are just sent to you, so that you could do the modifications.
The other litigation tool of forumotion is different, where users report forums to forumotion.
So relax, if there is nothing against the TOS of forumotion you need not worry even when the user uses a litigiation tool of forumotion.

Re: False Litigations
Thank you, that is reassuring.
But there are no modifications to make, as this was a false litigation filed by an ex-member bearing a grudge. So how do we go about getting it closed?

Re: False Litigations
Excuse my ignorance but how do I move it to 'done abuses'.
Sorry, this is the first time our forum has ever received a litigation.
It is a litigation not a reported abuse.
And it states that:
Here you can see the status of your litigations. You can answer them, but only the person who sent it can close it.
I have answered them but what do I do now?

Re: False Litigations
Obviously this only shows when a litigation is filed.
I have just looked now and it has gone.
The litigation has totally vanished!!
Thank you to whoever sorted it out for me.
