1. Definition

This is a security option that can limit the number of registrations from the same IP address to a number set by the admin for a duration of 24 hours (24 hours, not the current day).

This is to avoid creating multiple accounts and especially to identify the spammers! cheers

Obviously, for this option to work you need to make sure the "Allow new members" option is activated!

2. Activating the option

Just go to Administration Panel > General > Forum > Security

Select the number of new members accounts per day, per IP Ip_ban11

Note: If you leave the field blank or put 0, it means that members will be able to create an unlimited number of accounts with the same IP address!

3. Example :

Example with 2 registrations / IP / day :

1st attempt is successful:
