New Members Can't Register
I have a friend that is trying to join my forum and it will not let her. We have not changed anything and it is set for Admins to approve but they get this message when submitting:
Sorry, but that e-mail address is already registered to a user.
Sorry, but this username has already been taken.
I know that the name or email is not already taken and have never had this problem before the new features were installed. Thanks in advance for your help! I appreciate it!

Hello please try Activating the User by yourself.
ACP>Users and Groups>Inactive users.
Is he/she in that list?

Kin, but the user cannot register if the email address is claiming to be taken.
Alex, try searching to see if the email address is taken already via the search box in users.

I got her activated by doing it manually but there is a problem somewhere in having it set for Admin approval that will be fixed I hope.

Re: New Members Can't Register
it used to work just fine, admins got 2 activation emails, one for checking the new member and the other to activate it, its only recently since the changes with servers we have had odd problems, and now this has come to light, not sure how long its been doing it..
If it wasn't for the friend who tried registering today we wouldn't have known, and we would prefer to check members first before approving them, thats why its set like that.. Can it be fixed?
