ip bans
when i ban this user he keeps coming back with a diffrent ip here they are how can i stop him

all they do is change there ip lol and if you ban it they change it again just keep banning them or ban there email

he was abuseive on the forums and he was posting dirty images and i also think he was trying to hack intoo the forums beacuse his rank kept changhing

By using proxy servers a lot of banned surfers gain access to sites that they were previously banned from again and again.
There are various script/cookie solutions that prevent them getting on to your site, that you can insert in your forum somewhere, you can find them if you surf for them on Google.
But they all require a fair bit of technical knowhow to set them up propery.
Maybe Forumotion techs will come up with a idea or two if proxy banning is put up as a suggestion in the suggestion forum
