Solved How to add a referral box to register page?

I've also searched this and haven't been able to find what I'm looking for. I've noticed on other forums when you register there is an entire "Referred by:" section at the bottom. I would like to add that to my forum but I am having problems finding the right information.

How to check the user's total number of referrals?

Does this referrals will be visible in thier post & profile if I will choose important profile/post?
