Re: Server Change/Move
there is no way of moving your forum to another sever, only the pro staffs do it.

Just to clarify, you cant do it yourself, and the staff wont do it for you. Forumotion has a strict rule that involves no access to your forum's running mechanisms or any transferring off Forumotion's servers.
Sorry

like forumm.biz, darkbb.com etc (see those servers or domains at the creation of a forum!)
Re: Server Change/Move
ohhh ok.
I actually think that forumotion disabled the changing of that too.
Sorry

Re: Server Change/Move
I know... That's why I am asking them to do it...
It seems tha the specific domain (or server I cant figure it out) have a problem with the specific forum.
i dont know the reason why this is happening and noone from forumactif or forumotion thinks there is a problem.
But every morning I just have to resubmit my Personalized Domain Name for no obvious reason!!!
This is not happening on any other forum I guess....

Re: Server Change/Move
The domain names can be selected from the current list. If you face any problem choosing one of them, provide us details.

I have the external domain www.cosmopeople.biz
I submit it at the Personalized domain name field in the administration.
It validates and works. I type www.cosmopeople.biz and I see the forum.
Next day at 7:00 GMT in the morning I type www.cosmopeople.biz and the forum does not exist.
I enter the forum from its default Domain
I enter the administration panel , go to Personalized domain name and I see it is emty. Forum address has changes (by itself) back to the default address.
I submit again the external domain, it validates again and works. Next day at 7:00 same thing happens. The forum cannot be found through Personalised domain name.
Re: Server Change/Move
This truely is a weird problem, can you verify that everything is correct by following the tutorial: https://help.forumotion.com/frequently-asked-questions-f5/redirect-an-extern-domain-name-that-you-own-to-your-board-t7021.htm
If the problem still exists after this, then I believe it may be a techies problem.
Can you please clarify if you brought your domain ( cosmopeople.biz) through Forumotion (Thats through your admin panel ), or an external company, such as godaddy please?

Re: Server Change/Move
Sp this is re-occurring as I thought it was.
Ill see if we can get one of the support staff to come here shortly and see if they can help out, or try to get Typlo's input, seeing as this is persisting.

Re: Server Change/Move
New Clue to this weird case.......... may be the solution
I found that at Misc -> Credits Management -> Spend Credits -> Domain name
It still has form and option for a renewal.
When I press Modify then Renewal It Responds
You have currently 0 credits.
Currently, your forum address is : http://www.cosmopeople.biz
Your domain name expires in : -164 Days
This Should Not be there!
In another forum as soon as I entered a Personilised domain Name it does not present a Renewal Form!!!
I think this would be a setting from inside the forumotion server or administration or something.
Thank You

Re: Server Change/Move
I just pressed DELETE of the domain name! Hope it does not DELETE THE WHOLE FORUM!
