HTML on the Portal Empty HTML on the Portal

Post by banjo999 November 27th 2009, 5:46 pm

I'm not sure if all forums call it the "Portal," but I have a page filled with numerous widgets separate from the home page. I was wondering if anyone knew how to add HTML (in this case, a playlist from playlist.com) to the Portal, whether it be as one of the widgets or shown at the top of the page, like on the Index/Home Page.

Hello,

For that you need to create a custom widget block. Insert the playlist code in the content area and save the widget.

Now the widget is saved under 'Personal widgets'. You can drag and drop on your portal page to use it.

Hope that helps Very Happy

I've done what you describe Ankillien for a counter from Statcounter.
When I preview it, the code is displayed, not the counter. How do you make the html "operate" rather than being displayed?

Try hitting the A/A button on the top-right corner of the text box, before you add the code.
That should work.
