Disabling Watching of Topics

Hi,

I have just setup a forum and i was wondering how to disable the feature which automatically subscribes users to watching topics. is there an option in the admin control panel to switch off the watching of topics? its actually quite annoying to keep getting emails of people just posting in a thread

Profile > Preferences > Always notify me of replies : No > Save > Profile > Topic being watched > Mark All > Stop watching selected topics > Confirm.

also i am having trouble being abie to sticky topics? (i am the admin of the forum). the forums permissions say that i can make topics stickied. is this just topics that i create or also ones other people create? i want to sticky a topics that somebody else has created but i can't see a button anywhere on the mod options to sticky it!

Hello,

You need to edit the first post of the topic and scroll down, then press the Sticky button in the topic just like you would if you were creating one.
