it is to small and the Log in/out hangs off (if you know what i mean.

looks like your menu bar is not centered..centering your menu bar might fix your problem...
admin panel>display>homepage>headers and navigation
menu position..click on center or left
save

nope it looks even worse now the user name is still on the second line...

How wide is your monitor anyways?

why? does that matter? im not sure... its a laptop monitor cant for the life of me tell you what size it is! lol
