You can add up advertisements on your forum as long as they do not break forumotion's terms of service.

This is just an example of a forum that allows others to request for advertisements :

There is also a category for 'advertising forums' in the forumotion's directory,

Yes, just as long as you're not selling or linking to any porn or illegal material that, as Marc stated, would go against ForuMotion's Terms of Service.
