How do i replace the current nav bar text? As i cannot edit at all? for the text.. help?

You cannot change the default text.

If i want to make my own nav bar to appear i have to tick the box that say show only image?

Yes & change the images from
Display>Pics management
advanced mode.

How do i remove this thingy that shown on the images. with that black thing at the back of the nav bar.. it is ugly..

I think it could be removed via css. I am not sure.
