I love the idea and the animations but I have two very very small critisisms.

I personally don't like the colors or text, its abit primary school.

And the lines that appear need to be removed.

Other than that, GREAT.

To be honest, I think I like the 'if you like the post' thing better. o:
I'd suggest removing the shadow. Matte is ugly. >_<
If the bar could act like some kind of eraser, and only reveals text after it passes by, it might not look as strange.
Text should be simpler.
For the reflective layer, try using a large soft brush eraser to get rid of the bottom parts.
Maybe the rank names should be singular?
