Whats CSS and how do i use it?

Hey There

I am trying to add a chat bar at the bottom of my forum so you can chat to friends who are online on the forum and i have found codes but aperently i need to use CSS??

The CSS is the Cascading Style Sheet. You'll find it under Display > Pictures and Colors > Colors. Click on the link on the 'colors' page that says "CSS Stylesheet". If the box is blank then you will need to click on "See your forum basic CSS" which will bring up a box with your forum's basic css in it. Copy that and paste it into the blank box then click 'save'. With the css the only thing you can do is modify the colors, widths, heights, and placement of the elements already within the forum itself. You can add background images, as well. However, I have viewed both of those links that you have posted from your previous thread and unless you also have template editing, they will not work. Sorry. It is much easier to follow the steps that were mentioned in your previous thread, as it has worked perfectly for me, and from other posts/threads, for others as well. If what you are looking for is a personalized chat bar that is not associated with meebo, then it is beyond me and perhaps someone else with more expertise may be able to help.

kyouri i've done what you have said but the meebo bar still wont show up, unless you do it for me i may be missing something...
