Poll

I see the add poll in Forum widgets management & it is added to widgets but I cant seem to find how to configure it into a poll with questions & results. Help on this would be greatly appreciated as im close to finishing my forum off now w00t w00t "so close"

The poll for the widget is adding a post that you did to the widget.

Go to the widget of the poll and click Modify and pick a topic that has a poll that you wish to have on the widget. You must have a poll running to make it work.

Erm its just a drop down box with nothing in & cannot enter anything in there

Do you have a poll already opened in a topic on your forum? If not, then that's why there is nothing there.

First, create a poll on your forum somewhere. Pick a spot. Don't be forum-ist. XD

Next, go back and follow the procedure you just did. Now, however, your drop-menu will show that new poll you just created. Whenever a new poll is created, that list will update and give you more options (the polls). Whichever poll you choose from that list is the pol that will be displayed in your widget.

OK now your gonna love me! So how do I create a poll on your forum somewhere ?

Sorry guys I know im A n00b but hey only asked 3 questions here (not bad imo) the rest was easy, lovin these forums for real.

When you create a topic look at the bottom of the post box it will say options look for poll and add your question and poll answers. Once that is done you can then go to the widget management and pick that poll to display on the widget.
