Navigation Bar Tabs - Black and White With Gloss!

After some great advice and inspiration from harantony and Juani I've updated my previous navigation buttons to come up with this:





























Here's the blank, I used Arial (in Bold), size 10 for all but the Register button. For that I used Arial Black (In Bold), size 10.



Once again, all comments and constructive criticism is greatly appreciated.

If you'd like me to add something for you I'd be delighted. Please be aware though that I use MS Paint (I'm downloading GIMP tomorrow) so my abilities are somewhat limited.

I don't like them, they're just too basic.

They are good for MS Paint.. Here are some things to fix:

-For the bottom square, remove the left border on all of them. Except the first one (The "Forum Button") This will keep them from having a think line between each button.
-Remove the scan lines on the top tab gloss
-Keep all special buttons (New Message, Register, ect.) with the same font color.
-Rounded edges are sharp. (Unavoidable in MS Paint. So just for when you get gimp.)
-Add a little depth to the tabs. Plain color doesn't work well.

But, because they are made with MS Paint, some of these are hard to fix. I'd like to see another set when you get gimp.

These have potential. 8/10

Thanks, I do agree with you about it being a bit too big, I'll try remaking them with GIMP tomorrow.

Ok I downloaded GIMP, I'm still getting used to it though. Hopefully I'll get some new ones done soon.

Those are beautiful for MS paint. I can't wait to see what you can do in GIMP!
But notice in the picture how there are black lines when you put them together? Try erasing that border. 7/10

Thanks! I'm going to get rid of the border later. I'll have one with just the left lines removed on the center ones and one where the borders are removed on the center ones.

Still getting used to GIMP, it's pretty cool all the effects you can do on there.
