i took the script off this forum for the rainbow clock, went into my homepage configuration and pasted the code into the text box for the homepage...and it didnt work, just shows the code.

Anyone tell me what i am not doing?

i do have HTML enabled, i wanted to add a chatroom by puttig the code in a forum description but its not working either an embed code?

quite often the < script > tag is not allowed due to its easy way to embed things that can cause problems, its an unsafe tag, so i think it isnt allowed for security reasons,

Before entering the code, make sure that you have clicked the how to add the clock Switch_wysiwyg button.

You will only be able to add scripts to the portal

I tested your code for the clock and it works fine in the portal.
You just need to do what xaphania said with the button in the editor.
It should get a green line around the outside and a
Code:
<br>
tag in it when it is in the HTML mode


If you click the www button at the bottom of my post you will see your clock working

no i could add the clock to my homepage index using xaphania's advice, i just had to click that button she said and it worked fine. Thank you though.
