Special User Rank

I don't know why but it doesn't let me apply Special user rank I have created to a member .
I selet speical rank on users configuration but it actually doesn't set it.
Please tell me how to do it.

this is how you gonna do it

Go to Admin Panel >> User & Groups Tab >> Search User >> Find the user you wish to give rank to >> Go all the way down till you see Rank Title >> Click Drop down box >> Pick Rank >> then Save.

I change it here but it doesn't work.

Make sure you have the Rank you created for that person to be a Special Rank.

Admin Panel >> Users and Groups >> Ranks >> Rank Administration >> Click the yellow wheel to Modify the rank in question >> Make sure the "Set as Special Rank" is set to YES.

Well, i did what both of you said. I just didn't click on rank titles so you can see it. I have created ranks and they are set as special ranks. When I select the rank I want and select save it says

Error
The passwords you entered did not match.
EDIT : I solved it. The Field
New password : *
You only need to supply a password if you want to change it
was not empty.
Thus it didn't let me save. I deleted everything from that field , selected rank and it works now.
