Calendar events attached to the calendar itself

I know I've suggested this before too, somewhere, but I think it would be a good addition to have calendar event posts hidden from members and users BUT somehow attached to the calender itself ONLY. At the present time, we have to assign which forum calendar events are attached to and that forum has to be viewable in order for the event to be seen. Calendar events should only show up at the bottom of the statistics when it comes close to the event and then you see it and click on the link to view.

With most forums, the events in the calendar are attached to the calendar itself and the events are not posted as messages on the forum...this is how it should be. Or why bother to post an event when it's a message seen by those who it's meant for in a forum?

Please vote for this suggestion and because it only makes sense.
