Would like to create a "quick reply" box for my bo

This is my first time using this board format, so admittedly I lack the technical knowledge to do a lot of what needs to be done.

However, I would like to add a "quick reply" box to my board such as the one found here.

Is there some topic which has already been created to discuss this? If not, how can I add a quick reply box like this one for the convenience of the users of my board?

acp > user admin & groups > user & forum settings, bottom box of options its there, quick reply yes or no (tick one)
