Hey,

I was just wondering, I own a very busy site on formation and sometimes I need the users to be online to look at very important information they need to know. Is there a way to mute an individual user from posting in my forums? This would be great if I could find out how I can do this. Please reply with an answer!

You would have to create a new group and just set the permissions to read-only, then add any users that your don't want posting.

can't really do that without stopping all members from posting/making topics.

apart from the method that was posted above there is no way to limit user posts for a limited time

Yeah well, my site is a club we organise event's, we need people to see the info on where to go (members only) If I ban them they will not be able to see the info.
