Solved Change in personal domain name

Post by zebadee_19 February 14th 2010, 7:02 pm

Hi Smile
I would like to drop the uk bit from knowledge-tree-uk.
So it would be just knowledge-tree.
Whilst primarily a UK based forum.
We do not want to exclude any English speaking prospective members.
If a cost is involved, this will not be a problem.
I am guessing I might have to delete the current one.
If I do this, do I then have to purchase a new one from fresh.
TIA

All url's will have to end in something like .com co.uk or .net

If you want a .com you will have to rebuy a domain name.

Hi Smile
Sorry the url does end .org/
I just wanted to go to knowledgetree . org /
Instead of knowledge-tree-uk . org?
Trying to make it easier to pass & not exclude English speaking folk who are not in the UK.
But I guess I'll leave to see if the forum base gets stronger.
Then when the current domain name is about to expire.
Think about doing something then.
Thanks anyway.
So guess you would call this solved.
