Deleted Messages.......

can any deleted replies/messages be retrieved and also can i find out which ones have been deleted by mods......?

also a complete topic has dissapeared, does this mean each reply/message has been deleted individually or can the whole topic be deleted in one go........?

The deleted messages can be retrieved through back up system , it would be hard to find those topics but you can check the activity of the moderators/administrators by going to admin panel>general>security>moderation tab>check there

The topic could had been deleted completely or moved to a basket forum.

Thanks Zoids25, very intersting reading.............seems my mod has been deleting posts all over the site which he took a dislike to.
This is providing i am reading it right, which im pretty sure i am.........can i just check this please.

mods user name-----------i presume this means the post has been deleted by this certain mod?

It is the username of the person who deleted the message, thats it. It is the author of the topic, if not a mod.

Yes, it shows the name of the mod who deleted the topic/post.
