Forumotion Footer

Hi,

I have been told that the Fourmotion footer is compulsory, but as I looked at Jakolim's website, ego-one, I saw he did not have it, only his just said, powered by Forumotion with a single link back. Is this possible?

this cannot be achived but you can edit that with template editing

Ego-One has the links they have been edited to fit the forum theme.

how would you add a copyright so no one can copy all the things on your forum like the pictures? would i use simple footer?

In regards to the copyright thing, you can use www.CopyScape.com and put it on your footer like this website ( http://www.clubfairshare.com ) has done. In regards to the topic, only the forum publisher (ForuMotion) & the software (phpBB, punBB, or Invision) has to be displayed. Everything else, can go.

Also you can not put a copyright seal/icon if your images etc.. are not copyrighted. that is fraud. your saying you own all images and so fourth when in reality you do not because you never got them legally copyrighted.

but now if you have everthing legally copyrighted then yes you can add it to your site. but you cant claim you own something and have it legally copyrighted if you do not.

I asked LH Justin a week or two ago about this, and I was told that the Free Forums / Create a Forum and the Forum Version were required.

So, these codes must stay:

So are you saying that Report abuse can be removed ?

Can all this be done by CSS?

I'm not sure about Report Abuse, but that feature is to send a report to the administrators, and the report doesn't go to Litigation, it goes to the administrators of the forum, so I'm guessing its optional but I would double check with Typlo.

@ Jake, Not sure about CSS but I know it IS possible via the templates.
