Can I increase the size of my header?

Is there anyway I can increase the size of my header. I cannot fit the banner I want into it and would like to increase the headersize. Otherwise the banner covers the webpage.

for the first question all you have to do is re-size the logo smaller.
the second question you just add the background pic to your background.
you may have to re-size that as well depending what kind of background you have.

admin panel>display>pictures and colors>pic's management>advanced mode.

right at the top is where the logo goes and under that is your background.
