Convert .tivo to .avi? Empty Convert .tivo to .avi?

I was told .tivo files are mpg1 or mpg2, I'm not sure. Anyway, I want to convert them to .avi files. Someone recommended Super(c). I installed it, but can't get it to work. I keep getting error messages. Any suggestions for converting Tivo to avi would be thanked.
