First topic message reminder

I enabled this to show 1 post from previous page, just to see how it looks and members are confused. So i set the number from 1 back to 0 and its still showing the reminder on each page. Any ideas why this is happening

Admin Panel => General => Messages and Emails => Configuration => Messages => Always show the first post in the topics: Yes / No Save

thats a good think with it cuz you know what is the thread about when you go page 1 page 2 ...

Hmm did that already. Just re did it and now its fine.

One last question. How do i stop the thread from going to the last post when opening a topic.

General>Categories and forums
Click on a forum name
Then there is the option of sort posts of a topic by.
