Urgent - Domain name and database!

Hi,

While we were constructing our website www.campus18.com, we created a forum as a temporary space for interaction with our members (which are the college students). We also paid to get the ads removed.

Now our website is complete and we want to transfer the entire forum to our database. Since a lot of content was posted on the forum during the 2-3 months it was used, we don't want to lose it. On the other hand, we also don't want to be hosted with an external database/domain name. PLEASE figure out a way in which this can be resolved. I know database cannot be transferred, but if you can consider this as an exceptional case, we would be greatful, otherwise we will have to completely stop using the forum, start afresh and create something new for our website. Please help!!

Could you please throw some light on the reason for doing this? What's the harm in shifting the database if we're facing so much problems? In fact our whole company was looking forward to have this forum transferred on to our website!
