Hi guys,

Here's the thing my website has just started to play music on the home page witch is my portal.

I dont know how it started but it seemed to happen after i started to advertise my website on other website...

Could some one have a look or tell me what i need to do to stop this?

are you sure the music wasn't coming from another window opened? I'm not part of the support team but tend to lend a hand when time allows. Like to help you if i can. Had a former site member insert a little laugh box , found the little bugger hiding in his signature.

Nope there was no other windows open and i didnt have no music playing b4 that on any music players (windows media player, winamp ect..).

It random how it just plays sometimes and other times it wont...

any suggestions on where to look ?

Still havent found the problem...

Try looking in the post,sigs,avatars of your members. You should have a good idea when it started, i'd start with post in that time frame. linking with another site shouldn't cause this problem;it would be a new one for me to learn of.. Weirder things have happen.lol Wish someone else would be so kind as to offer some help too. Things are best conquered/resolved in #'s. wish i could help more. If anything else ,i can register and if given moderation permission, i'd start viewing post. other than that , I'm useless .

do you have your html enabled? and is it only doing this in the portal?
I would check the widgets and make sure there are no codes in them. then if you have the forms html on. i would turn that off and go through some post for the page you have displayed in the portal.

if there is a html code in one of those that appears with player that is otherwise hidden. you will see the code in the post then be able to remove it and ban the idiot that put it there.. if thats the case.

That's all i can think of right now.. so try that and let us know how you make out.

yea it only happens in my portal no other page...

Have not found nothing so far and it hasn't done it for me again yet...

not sure whats going on lol ill just wait and see if it does it again...

Thank's kirk , i wasn't even thinking widgets or an add. These things can be hair pulling at times.

spent over an hour and found nothing. You do have an add in portal, so I'm wondering.
