I want to know how to automatically give a user a rank when they get accepted into a group.

Can someone give me the instructions

You must to activate the Group auto-subscribe and then you must to put one rank for that group

There is an easier way, lol

Goto:

ACP >> Users & Groups >> Rank Administration >> Creat a rank and in the "Minimum Posts" put 0 and then put the link to the image you would like in "Rank Image URL"

So I assume it needs to be a normal rank.

I already have the rank image though.

I just don't know how to put the ranks for usergroups

The group auto subscribe is for minimum posts. What would I do after that

When someone joins a group, I want the rank (AND THE IMAGE) to be automatically set on the user. (e.g., Someone joins the moderator team, they get the moderator rank and image)

The only way they get that is if you assign them into a ranks not a group

So does that mean that I have to assign every individual staff member the rank?

I just found out that this is possible.

On webartzforum, they automatically set a member rank for you.

There must be some way

So you're saying that once you get a new member, you have to automatically give them the member rank? Or is there some way around that.

And I understand, but I have seen these in other forums. So I don't know

When a member signs up you can automatically assign them a RANK and GROUP but you can not automatically promote them to a staff position.
