I saw so often Footers with contents like "Site powered by forumotion" with just a Link to forumotion.com ...

Is this really allowed ?

It is just referencing and giving thanks.

We have discussed a lot in the german support forum and we don't get wise.

It is not allowed as far as i know. So avoid editing it.

oh, editing the footer, no I'm sure that isn't allowed.

But i have seen so much forums just with Links like "Hostet by forumotion" and so on ...

As i said, i cannot say what will be done. Its better not to delete it, you will edit the footer at your own risk.

But when you just hide theme ? And by clicking on them they will appear like in the forum i showed above ...

Is there no one a responsible person who can give me the answer Yes or no ??
