I need to know how to add a place where members can fill in their answers and it show up under their avatar. Things like name on tags, favorite colors, favorite artist, etc. Is there a way to do this?

If you go to your admin control panel,
Users and groups > profiles > you can add a profile field and give different settings by clicking on the green '+' at the bottom right. For what you are trying to make, I would suggest making a 'Text Field'.

AS Tom has said above that is where you would have to set it up.
be sure to change all the options on how you see fir and to be displayed in messages and profiles.

Messages will appear in with all post, profiles in your profiles page.
