Post Count Disabled for certain forums!

First off yes I have used the search and I have seen the answer, but my question is:

Would the post count disable for certain forums, be implemented at a later date, is there a way around it now, or this will never happen?

While I got you her, is it possible for forums to be viewed but not read, like a staff forum for example.

They can see the forum there. but they cannot see what is inside it?
