How to split the number of post when you post the message?

Can someone teach me how to split the message when you post? cause i see other forum there message has been split,so that what i want to know how?

No,not the topic.I'm talking is the subject of the message and when you already click it,you see the message.All i want to know how to split those messages.Like other forum,there message have

#2 post
#3 post

and etc....

I tested in my test forum ( I use phbb2 ) and works You must need to edit the viewtopic_body template and add this variable :
