Making category threads show below description(SELFSOLVED) Empty Making category threads show below description(SELFSOLVED)

I've done this on other categories, but now i can't remember where i made this happen in admin. I want the contents of the category to show on the main page, updated as posts are made--this is the place where new posts appear below the category description, and have a little "page" icon next to them showing they are new (in red). Where do i make these threads appear under each category header? Neutral

I'm not sure exactly what you are asking...see my post in this topic to see if it answers your request:

Okay, under the category, you can have the option to show the threads that are active in that category...there are little page icons next to each thread topic, and those little icons turn red when there's a new post there. The threads update by themselves to keep things current. I've made this happen on two categories, but now can't find where i did that. I want to apply it to other categories as well.

The icons automatically turn "red" or whatever, when there is a new post. You don't have to activate it.

Okay, one more time:
i NEED this thread feature to show UP in the first place. I'm not trying to activate the little red things. I just provided that visual so that maybe you would understand what i was asking. I want to activate the threads appearing under each category--the ones that show what's in the category, below the description of the category.

i've been trying to post a screenshot of what i mean, but they are not showing up using html o BBC. I have the image on my own server and referenced it, but it doesn't show. so since i can't get a pic to you, i can't provide a visual.
what's wrong with your pic feature? it works fine on my own forum.

Okay, these category contents appear below the category description, when you have actual forums created within that category. This won't happen if there are only POSTS below a category. This is as near as i can figure it. My goal seems to be reached, in any case.
